I imagine these days Hillary will happily accept support from anyone, even from Rush Limbaugh and his followers. Rush Limbaugh and other right wing talk radio hosts have asked their audience to cross over and vote for Hillary so she can keep spending money attacking Barack. Looking at the exit polls, clearly Rush’s plan worked. Hillary won both those voters identifying themselves as very conservative and somewhat conservative.
On the Laura Ingraham show this morning a Democrat called in to confirm that when she was waiting in line to vote, two Republicans were discussing how they were voting for Hillary due to Rush’s plea. A Republican also called saying he heard several conservative talk radio shows discuss crossing over to vote for Hillary and so that’s what he did.
While Hillary may have won due to conservative support that she won’t get in the general election she didn’t do what she needed to do in terms of delegates. Daily Kos points out that Hillary didn’t make any significant gains to allow her to catch up in delegates and Barack still holds his significant lead. With Hillary losing super delegates on a weekly basis she is going to have a hard time catching up in delegates by the convention. The math isn’t on Hillary’s side. Onto Wyoming and Mississippi.
