Iraq War Protesters Arrested at IRS

Posted on Updated on

AP has the story.  Sarah Karush writes:

Police have arrested about a dozen people who crossed a barricade at the entrance of the Internal Revenue Service building in Washington at the start of protests marking the fifth anniversary of the Iraq war.

Anti-war protests and vigils are planned across the country.

Dozens of people gathered at the IRS, chanting “This is a Crime Scene” and “You’re arresting the wrong people.” A crowd marched around the IRS before gathering at the entrance.

The evil, corrupt, and Satanic U.S. government is being challenged by the patriots and revolutionary-minded citizens that founded this once great republic. The IRS is an unconstitutional and illegal agency that forcibly deprives the people of their earnings. This is legalized theft and a direct violation of the apportionment requirement of the U.S. Constitution.

Do your part and withhold the percentage of your taxable earnings that goes to feed the Pentagon and the war-machine. When citizens unite, we can throw off this despicable cancer on our government.
