Republicans finally have the Supreme Court they’ve been hoping for. Today the Supreme Court refused to hear arguments regarding President Bush’s illegal domestic spying program. CNN has the details. Republicans who believed they were voting to get government off their backs, who believed in smaller government, should abandon the party because it’s obvious the Republicans have abandoned that position.
On the official GOP blog the party has a post attacking Obama and Clinton on their earmarks. In Bush’s State of the Union address he said, “If you send me an appropriations bill that does not cut the number and cost of earmarks in half, I’ll send it back to you with my veto.”
Hillary Clinton’s push to win this nomination through superdelegates is making me more and more think of 1984. Let the voice of the people stand and let superdelegates vote for the winner of the delegates as per the rules set before the Iowa caucus.
The official GOP website has a Blogroll. The third blog down that’s recommended by the official GOP website is called Big Dog’s Blog. In the about section of Big Dog’s Blog it says, “So it is up to us to eradicate liberalism so we can prevent the next civil war.” Is it a surprise that over the years I switched from being an independent Republican to an independent Democrat? Quite frankly…NO.
